I read tons of reviews before purchasing this crossbow, and I decided that the Vortex met my needs better than any other product. I love the more compact design of the Vortex and reduced length. I almost went with the Ibex instead, but I chose the Vortex because it has more power/speed. I am only about 5'7" 150 lbs, so I was concerned about getting something with a high draw weight. The 200lb draw weight of the Vortex is actually much easier to cock than I thought it would be. I wanted something that I could use for many years to come and the Vortex is a breeze to cock back when you use the cocking rope. I have setup the crossbow and fired it on numerous occasions. The accuracy lives up to the Excalibur reputation, and after minor adjustments, I feel confident making a shot on a deer at 50 yards. This is a great product. I am fully satisfied and I can’t wait to go hunting with it. I plan to keep this cross bow for a long time. I highly recommend it, and would purchase again.
