A patent pending "D-loop" Anti Dry Fire (ADF) mechanism is integrated into the release. The conventional nock, rest and loop allow the PSE TAC crossbow to be loaded before it is at full draw. The PSE TAC crossbows also can be let down from full draw without being fired. These features combine to create a safer shooting platform.
