Packs a Punch, but add a better sight or scope

I wasn't expecting a whole lot out of this thing, but I was very surprised with its performance.
Started at 10yards and was hitting within 4" with the sight it comes with; after I had some practice I had 6" grouping at over 20 yards.
Then I ordered a mount adapter from amazon for a few bucks, and mounted a cheap Tasco Red Dot with a weaver base my Dad had been using on his .22. I spent about 15mins sighting it in by hand. Now I'm at 30 yards consistently hitting 3" circles from a standing position, and I know I can go farther with it.
Also, the arrows it comes with are pretty decent. I was shooting into a log at first and breaking one every couple shots (I ordered extra). I made a target out of a cardboard box, and packed it with more cardboard, I've only broken one since.

This thing blew me away I really was expecting some flimsy piece of crap, but instead I got this sturdy, powerful, and durable pistol crossbow. I could not be happier with my purchase this thing is a lot of fun to shoot in the back yard. This thing is deceptively powerful, I mean it really packs a punch, so be very careful with it, by no means is this a toy. Overall though this is an amazing product.

some modifications can make it right

The body of this crossbow pistol is solid and the cocking mechanism is a little hard but not to bad for a grown man. I went through 3 strings and 10 or 15 bolts with some dangerous misfires until I decided to notch the ends of the bolt flights with a sharp knife. PVC or aluminum. Do this little trick and you will get alot more shots from the cheap bolts. Also on the new strings put some super glue up and down the string to keep it from fraying to soon. I got so agravated with the sight screw comming loose that I glued it straight with some epoxy cement now it won't budge. For every other screw on the crossbow I recommend some blue lock tight or you will have to constantly tighten them back up. Once you have gotten the damn thing glued up tight it's one bad ass weapon, Overall I am very happy with my purchase but I did have to spend some time on the aformentioned modifications.
